What’s Nearby…
This is our favorite part!
We like to say we’re “20 minutes from anything… and 20 minutes to everything.” That means we’re centrally located to some of York and Adams County’s best sites, restaurant and attractions. But it also means we’re nestled in some of the region’s best countryside, where Amish buggies peacefully trot by throughout the day… and a cornucopia of roadside stands make for a culinary shopping delight.
We’re just five minutes away from Codorus State Park, 1,275-acre Lake Marburg and the popular Heritage Rail Trail. The nearby biking, kayaking and hiking make nature lovers happy. Long-distance bike riders zoom by the inn almost daily as they enjoy one of the region’s most-scenic rides.
Downtown York, its museums, factory tours and restaurants are 20 minutes away.
Hanover and its shopping, restaurants and famous horse farms are 20 minutes in the other direction.
Gettysburg is 40 minutes away. It’s one of our favorite drives.
Lancaster and its Amish community are the same distance in the other direction. Many of our neighbors are Amish, too.
Baltimore, Harrisburg and Hershey are an hour away… and the adventurous can be in New York City in three hours.
Imagine that – waking up to a wonderful view of a world-class flower farm in the morning… and enjoy a Broadway matinee by evening.
If you want to do it all… but don’t want to be stuck in the hectic center of it all, come visit.
You’ll be glad you did.
